SULFOCK BEACH- A woman who is believed to be a victim of the ‘Gilgo Beach Seriel Killer’ has been identified. Authorities in Suffolk County have identified the woman as Valerie Mack, who also went by the name Melissa Taylor.

Mack went missing in the Summer of 2000 at 24. At that time, she was working as an escort in Philadelphia  and was last spotted in the area of Port Republic, N.J..

Mack’s remains were found in two different places. Her first remains were found in Nov. of 2000 in Manorville, NY, then police discovered more of her remains, found 11 years later in 2011 near-by Gilgo Beach.

Police made the discovery of the 10 victims in Gilgo Beach when an escort by the name of Shannan Gilbert went missing after allegedly meeting one of her “John’s”. Her body was found in 2011, with some pretty weird details surrounding her disappearance.

Last year, police released a photo of a belt that they believe the serial killer “handled”. The belt has two letter’s which are HM or MH depending on how you view it.
