BUCKHEAD, ATLANTA- Music executive Chaka Zulu was shot Sunday, police say.
The co-CEO of Disturbing Tha Peace Records was shot at a location off Peachtree Road around 11:35 p.m. along with two other men. All three men were taken to a hospital, but one victim died from his injuries, according to local reports.
Investigators say the shooting sprung from an argument in a parking lot behind the strip center on Peachtree Road, reports 11Alive.
Zulu reportedly underwent emergency surgery, but police haven’t released what his condition is, or the other surviving victim.
There are no suspects in custody.
Chaka manages rapper and actor Ludacris. He’s also worked with other artists Young Jeezy, Swizz Beatz, Iggy Azealia, Travis Scott and more.
