Male Nanny charged with molesting 17 boys under his care

CALIFORNIA- 30-year-old Matthew Antonio Zakrzewski was originally arrested and charged back in May with three felony counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under the age of 14 and one felony count of oral copulation of a child under 10 and one felony count of possession of child pornography according to KTLA and the Orange County District Attorney’s office.

Zakrzewski pleaded guilty to these charges that were brought on after a couple said that their 8-year-old son who was under his care was molested by him.

After Zakrzewski was charged, authorities asked for any more victims to come forward, and they did. 11 more boys have came forward, between the ages of 2 and 12 years of age.

Investigators believe the crimes happened between Jan. 1, 2014, and May 17, 2019.

Zakrzewski is now facing 33 counts:

• 27 felony counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under the age of 14
• one felony count of oral copulation of a child under the age of 10
• one felony count of using a minor for sex acts
• one felony count of possession of child pornography.
• two felony counts of distributing pornography to a minor for the purpose of engaging in sexual conduct
• one felony count of an attempted lewd or lascivious act with a minor under the age of 14

He’s being held on a $1.2 million dollar bond and is facing 690 years to life in prison.
