PHILADEPHIA- Police arrested a man on Wednesday accused of raping a woman inside of a Macy’s bathroom.
Police arrested Jaleel Uqdah, 22, at his home.
According to police, the attack happened on Sunday at the store, in a third floor bathroom.
The man hid inside of the bathroom and waited about 20 minutes until the 55-year-old victim walked in.
“When she went inside the bathroom he was in the stall,” Police Capt. Mark Burgmann said. “He jumped over the stall into her stall”, Pennlive reports.
Police say the man then fled the scene.
The victim’s husband was waiting on a different floor.
Ugdah is charged with aggravated assault, robbery and rape.
