INDIANA- A postal worker was killed on Monday and although a motive isn’t clear, it’s believed that her death may have been over a man not receiving his stimulus check.
45-year-old Angela Summers was shot and killed on Monday as she was delivering mail.
Police arrested 21-year-old Tony Cushingberry, and charged him with fatally shooting Summer’s in her chest.
According to the president of the National Association of Letters Carriers who spoke to WXIN, Cushingberry may have allegedly been in a rage because he or someone in his home hadn’t received their stimulus checks.
Summer’s had written a note to the residence asking that they bring their small dog inside, so that she could deliver their mail, and she didn’t deliver mail to that property for weeks according to a report.
