Man Allegedly Lured Ex Into Fight Where She Was Ambushed And Killed

GEORGIA- A mother is dead after her ex-boyfriend allegedly lured her into a “fight” with his girlfriend where she was ambushed and killed, police said.

Police say on May 25, De’ja McCrary was killed when she went to an apartment complex at the request of her ex- boyfriend Colvin Lindsey, reports 11 Alive.

Lindsey allegedly coordinated for McCrary to “fight” his girlfriend, Teandra Brox, police say.

When McCrary arrived at the complex, after receiving a text from a third suspect, Aquala Barnes, she was shot and killed. Her 4-year-old child was in the car and suffered minor scratches, reports 11 Alive.

Lindsey was arrested on May 30 and charged with murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and being associated with a street gang while participating in a crime.

Barnes was charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and being associated with a street gang while participating in a crime, jail records show.

Brox was arrested June 1 and charged with murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and being associated with a street gang while participating in a crime.
