THE BRONX, NYC- Police arrested a man on Thursday who allegedly attempted to kidnap an 8-year-old boy at a Bronx subway station.
The boy and his mother were walking toward the D train platform in the Fordham station on March 6 when 36-year-old Luis Toledo allegedly snatched the boy from his mother’s hand.
Police say that the mother screamed for help and grabbed her son, as Toledo stood starring at them before a crowd began forming around him.
Toledo was charged with attempted kidnapping, acting in a manner injurious to a child and unlawful imprisonment.
The NYPD says there were no injuries.
