TEXAS- A man has been arrested after allegedly kidnapping a woman he met on the dating app Bumble, holding her hostage and sexually assaulting her for almost 5 days.
Zachary Mill, 21, allegedly picked up the victim on Christmas Eve and drove her to his apartment after they exchanged messages on Bumble, according to reports.
The victim told authorities once inside Mill’s home, he became very upset after she refused to have sex with him. She said he bit her and beat her repeatedly with a screwdriver handle.
Mills allegedly tortured and raped her over a span of 5 days, before she was able to escape.
The woman was sexually assaulted “multiple times leading to serious bodily injury,” police said in a press release.
She was able to escape on Dec. 29 after Mills left to his father’s home. She got help from a neighbor and was taken to a hospital for her injuries.
Mills was arrested the next day and charged with first-degree aggravated kidnapping, but he may face additional charges due to an ongoing investigation.
