BROOKLYN, NYC- Police have arrested a man accused of killing a woman and her dog, officials said Tuesday.
Namel Colon, 36, is accused of fatally shooting 36-year-old Jennifer Ynoa and her Pitbull on Jan. 2 as she was inside of a bodega.
Police believe it was a targeted attack.
PETA was offering to pay $5,000 to anyone who gave information that would lead to an arrest. It’s unclear if that money was paid out or if Colon was arrested after a tip.
Colon was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
