DETROIT- A man has been arrested after he was caught on video pointing a gun at a man who was holding a baby.
The incident happened Sunday evening at a gas station when the suspect pulled a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at a man who was carrying a 7-month-old baby.
The man who was holding the baby, waved his arm and pushed the gun from the suspects hand, which caused the suspect to stumble before he tried aimed at another man, police say.
Police say the man holding the baby may have caused the gun to jam when he smacked it.
The suspect fled the scene.
The two men reportedly got into an argument before separately walking into the gas station.
The suspect, who hasn’t been identified, was later arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
