FLORIDA- A man was arrested on Thursday after he was caught stealing 66 rolls of tissue from the Marriott in Orlando according to WOFL.
31-year-old Angel Hernandezcinto was caught by a security guard who witnessed him putting a large garbage bag into his van. When the guard peeked inside, he saw that the bag was full of toilet tissue paper.
After Hernandezcinto was arrested, he told police that he was planning on giving the toilet tissue to a woman he knew that was poor and was in need of them.
He was still charged with theft from a public lodging establishment, which is a felony.
I believe charging him with a felony is just too much over the top, despite him stealing.
The toilet paper was valued at $0.99 per roll.
People have been going crazy over toilet paper during this epidemic that the world is facing due to the deadly Coronavirus, which makes NO sense to me. I’ve put up several videos on my Instagram @_blackrroommedia, showing people behaving as animals, fighting each other.
It’s just selfish, and clearly dumb to me to be honest. What people should really be concerned about are medical supplies, canned foods and water.
