NYC- Police have arrested a man in connection to the fatal shooting of up & coming Drill rapper in Queens, police said.
Dariel Herrera, 30, was arrested for the killing of Drill rapper Ty Savv, whose real name is Tysheem McDonald. He was killed on Aug. 7, according to cops, reports The New York Daily News.
McDonald, 18, and a 25-year-old man were on 148th Ave. near 231st in Brookville when gunfire rang out around 6:15 p.m., police said.
McDonald was shot in the chest.
He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, but later died.
Another victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to a hospital, where he was treated.
Herrera was charged with murder, attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
