Man arrested in deaths of couple found in suitcase by TikToker’s

SEATTLE- A man has been arrested, and charged by police in connection to the deaths of a couple that were discovered in a suitcase by a pair of TikToker’s.

Police arrested 62-year-old Michael L. Dudley at his home on Wednesday.

Dudley is being accused of killing 27-year-old Austin Wenner and 35-year-old Jessica Lewis, a couple who were renting a room in his home.

The victims bodies were discovered on a beach by some TikToker’s who recorded the gruesome finding that went viral. Once they opened the suitcase, they found the couple stuffed inside of plastic bags with a foul smell and called 911.

According to Kiro7, police believe Dudley shot, and killed the couple on June 9th in his home, because they were unable to pay rent due to the Coronavirus epidemic.

Police tracked Dudley down, because the suitcase that both victims were found in, belonged to him. There were bullet holes inside of the room the couple rented and blood. A witness also told investigators that gunshots were heard coming from inside Dudley’s home, but when police arrived, nobody was home.

Dudley has been charged with 2 counts of first-degree murder. His bail has been set a $5 million.
