Man Arrested In Fatal Stabbing Of Twin Sister At Brooklyn Bodega

BROOKLYN – A man has been arrested Friday after a 19-year-old was stabbed and her sister was fatally stabbed at a Brooklyn bodega last week.

Veo Kelly, 20, turned himself in with his attorney by his side at 8 a.m., according to police.

Kelly allegedly stabbed a pair of 19-year-old twins at a bodega Sunday neat 4th Ave. and St. Marks Place in Park Slope. According to reports, he allegedly became upset when them after the rejected his advances.

Police said Kelly got into a fight with a male that was with the twins, before he allegedly stabbed both of them.

Samiya Spain, 19, was stabbed in her neck and chest.

She was taken to a hospital where she died from her injuries. Her sister was placed in stable condition.

Video footage shows Kelly at the bodega at the time of the stabbing, and there was clothing with blood on found at his home, but no knife.
