Man beaten to death after allegedly trying to run people over with car

CALIFORNIA- A man who veered his car onto a sidewalk was yanked out of his car and beaten to death by an angry mo.

The victim, 40-year-old Melguin Lopez Santos, was kicked out of a business just before he was attacked on Saturday, reports the Daily Breeze.

Santos is being accused of arguing with someone outside, getting into his truck and then purposely driving onto a sidewalk that was packed with pedestrians.

Santos was pronounced on the scene.

Witnesses say that Santos refused to be taken out of his car and crashed into a building.

Santos most likely died from blunt force trauma, but an autopsy is pending.
