FLORIDA- A suspect has been charged with murder in the death of a man who was brutally beaten over a $40 debt.
According to CBS News, police arrested 21-year-old Lesroy Alexander Edwards and charged him with second-degree murder and robbery.
Back in April, police initially arrested Edwards, after witnesses say he and 2 other men brutally beat a man and left his nude body unresponsive in a front of a building.
Police traced phone calls that were linked to one of the suspects, who admitted police that the men beat the victim in an attempt to retrieve $40 in cash that he owed in Marijuana.
The victim was in hospice care for about 4 months before dying in September.
