Man Caught On Video Tossing Woman Onto Train Tracks In The Bronx

THE BRONX, NYC- Police are searching for a man who was caught on surveillance footage throwing a woman onto subway tracks Sunday.

The newly released video shows the suspect, violently pushing the 52-year-old woman at the Jackson Ave. train station at about 4:45 p.m.

Police are calling the incident an unprovoked attack and have made no arrests.

The suspect, wearing a baseball cap backwards and a white tank top, can be seen on video approaching the woman from behind, grabbing her with both of his hands and throwing her on the tracks.

The woman fell on to the track’s platform pavement before rolling onto the roadbed.

She was taken to a hospital and listed in stable condition. She suffered bruises and cuts to her head and arms.

Police say the suspect is still at large and there is no motive.
