Man charged after coercing homeless man into doing deadly flip

LAS VEGAS- A man has been arrested for the murder of a homeless man he coerced into doing a flip that cost him his life.

Police announced on Tuesday that Keonte Jones was taken into custody and booked on suspicion of willful disregard of a person’s safety for the death of Larry Coner.

According to KSNV, on June 20th, Jones went up to 55-year-old Coner, who was panhandling at the time, and offered him $6 to do a back flip so that he could live stream it, but it turned deadly.

When Coner attempted to do the back flip, he fell hard on his neck, suffering a serious spinal injury, and died on June 30th.

Coner’s only sibling has made a GoFundMe page for him.
