LOUISIANA- A man was charged after shooting at children playing hide and seek on his property, resulting in a 14-year-old girl being shot.
The girl suffered a gunshot wound to the back of her head Sunday. She was rushed to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office.
David Boyle, 58, told police that he saw shadows outside of his home and began shooting at people he saw running away, “unknowingly” striking the girl.
Boyle has been charged with four counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, aggravated battery and illegal discharge of a firearm.
