COHES- A man has been charged in the death of an 11-year-old boy who was killed during a drive-by shooting.
According to the Daily Gazette, police arrested, and charged 22-year-old Jahquay E. Brown with second-degree murder, for allegedly killing 11-year-old Ayshawn Davis in a drive-by shooting on Sept. 12.
Police executed a search warrant for Brown at his home, where they discovered a handgun that police believe is the same exact gun that was used in the deadly drive-by. Police are waiting for testing to confirm their beliefs.
According to authorities, Davis was killed as he was standing with a group of people, when a car sped by, firing into the crowd. Davis died from a single gunshot wound to his head.
