Man Charged In Fatal Shooting Of Rapper President Davo

BALTIMORE- A man has been charged in connection to the fatal shooting of rapper President Davo last month, police announced Monday.

Earl Lee, 27, was arrested in East Baltimore on November 8, police said. He has been charged with first-degree murder and multiple gun offenses, according to CBS News Baltimore.

President Davo, 28, whose real name is David Boykin was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries.

The rapper was shot by an assailant as he was sitting on a porch. Police say the getaway car seen on surveillance footage was registered to Lee.

Lee admitted to killing to President Davo.

President Davo had released 11 albums in his career.
