BRONX, NY- Police have arrested a man who was wanted for attempting to rape a 15-year-old girl while she was sleeping in her room back in May.
Police arrested Marlon Alvarez, 31, who they say is homeless, on Saturday.
Alvarez is being accused of breaking a window, gaining access to the victims home and attempted to rape her on May 30, around 4 a.m.
The teen screamed once Alvarez climbed on her, and her mother chased him out of their home.
According to the NYPD, Alvarez was charged with attempted rape, sex abuse, forcible touching and burglary.
