MINNESOTA- A man has been arrested, and charged with murder for the death of his tinder date that he drugged.
KARE 11 reports that 38-year-old Edward Antonio Zappa told police that he wasn’t sure what drugs his Tinder date, Thea Renae Toles, 43, had taken before coming over to his house on Thanksgiving.
Investigators found searches on his computer such as how long someone could survive being passed out from the date-rape drug “GHB”. There were text messages that also incriminated Zappa, and he was known to use the drug with other’s.
Investigators ordered new tests on Toles, and found that she had a high level of GHB in her system, which caused her to have a fatal overdose.
Zappa was on probation at the time, and has a lengthy rap sheet which includes burglary, domestic assault involving strangulation and more according to the paper.
Zappa has been charged with third-degree murder and first-degree manslaughter.
