KIPS BAY, Manhattan- Police are searching for a man who they say raped a woman inside of her Manhattan apartment on Thursday morning.
The NYPD say that the unidentified male suspect knocked on the victims door, at her Kips Bay home, near the intersection of East 30th Street and Third Ave, around 12 p.m.
When the 27-year-old victim answered her door, the man said he was there to deliver a package, and forced his way into her apartment.
The suspect then choked the victim until she was unconscious and raped her. Afterwards the suspect forced the woman to give him her credit cards, along with her pin number, before he fled the scene.
The victim was taken to a Hospital, and released after being treated.
