Man Found Guilty Of Murdering Wife By Spiking Cereal With Heroin

MICHIGAN- A man was convicted of his wife’s murder and other charges Wednesday after killing his wife by putting heroin in her cereal.

Jason Harris, 47, was found guilty of murdering his 36-year-old wife, Christina Harris, in 2014, according to a report.

Authorities say Harris gave his wife a bowl of cereal with a lethal dose of heroin on the night of Sept. 28, 2014. He then took his wife to her bed where she was later found unresponsive.

According to the Washington Examiner, Harris moved another woman into his home just two weeks after his wife died.

He wasn’t charged until 2019, because authorities had initially believed that her death was accidental.

Harris was found guilty of first-degree premeditated murder, solicitation of murder and delivery of a controlled substance causing death.

He faces life in prison.
