HAMPTON, S.C.- A 37-year-old man will spend the rest of his life in prison, after impregnating a 10-year-old girl.
Tony Singleton was found guilty on Wednesday of first-degree criminal sexual assault on a minor under the age of 11.
According to ABC Chicago, the 14th Circuit Solicitor’s Office said that in April of 2016, Singleton went inside of a room that the victim was in, where she was watching cartoons, turned off the lights and raped her.
Singleton was dating the victims mother at that time.
The 10-year-old rape victim had to be taken to have an abortion by her mother.
Singleton was given one life sentence with no chance of parole.
