UPDATE: The man who jumped on stage during Beyonce’s & Jay-Z’s performance of “APESHIT” in Atlanta was arrested and charged.
According to the Associated Press, 27 year old Anthony Charles Thomas Maxwell was charged with simple battery, despite Beyonce & Jay-Z’s Tour Team released a statement saying they weren’t going to press charges. It was most likely the state who pressed charges.
Maxwell originally was cited for disorderly conduct.
During Beyonce & Jay-Z’s performance last night in Atlanta, Georgia, a man somehow got past security on stage and chased after the singer and her husband during their “OTRII” tour.
The man was seen on video jumping on stage as Beyonce & Jay-Z had wrapped up the show for the night. Fans screamed in horror as they feared for the singer & rappers safety, as there clearly were no security in sight, which allowed this man to get on stage.
You can see the look on the backup dancers faces as they were confused watching this “fan” jump on stage and race after the artists. With their quick thinking they chased after the man & a brawl visibly broke out.
Many are asking the question “Where was security at?”. But according to the OTRII Tour Team, security did their job, yes, I know, how?
