UPSTATE, NY- A man has been charged after police say that he killed a puppy and threw it in the trash.
Raymond Mangieri, 27, was arrested and charged on Wednesday with aggravated cruelty to animals, which is a felony, according to a release.
According to The Sun Community News, the dog, Ace, had been reported missing earlier in the day by a neighbor and was later found dead in the trash.
Mangieri was arraigned and released only to return after he was rearrested for violating his parole from another conviction of driving under the influence of drugs, The New York Post reports.
