FLORIDA- A man has been arrested for killing his girlfriend, after coming home from jail and finding her having sex with another man.
50-year-old Kenyatta Bellamy was released from jail last Tuesday after serving a year for failing to appear in court on a DUI manslaughter charge.
According to Polk County police, Bellamy had found out that his girlfriend was cheating on him, but was angry over the fact that he couldn’t travel by bus to see her due to the Coronavirus.
After just 3 days of being released from jail, Bellamy admitted to police that on Friday, he went to his girlfriends house, found her having sex with her lover and ‘lost it.”
Bellamy used a knife and a hammer on both victims, killing them.
He then set the bedroom on fire, which alerted the police.
His girlfriend had an 8-year-old son, but it’s not sure if he was home at the time.
Authorities are not understanding how Bellamy was released from jail with his charges after serving a year.
He has now been charged with first-degree murder, one count of attempted felony murder, one count of tampering with evidence and one count of arson.
