Man Mauled To Death By Dogs, Owner Charged With Manslaughter

SOUTH CAROLINA- A man was found lying dead on a road after he was mauled by dogs and now police have charged the owner.

Chantell Ross was arrested and charged this week in connection to the victim’s death, reports KNEWS.

Last month, deputies from the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a man lying on Saw Mill Road.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim, identified as 34-year-old Scottie Brigman, dead with his clothing shredded and bite marks on his body.

Four dogs were taken from the scene, but it’s unclear if they were euthanized.

Ross has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and three counts of owner of dangerous animal attacks resulting in death.
