Man mutilated after Grindr date; Jeffree Star donates money

MICHIGAN- 60-year-old Mark Latunski has been arrested and charged with the murder and mutilation of a man he met on a dating app.

25-year-old Kevin Bacon, went missing on Christmas Eve after allegedly meeting up Latunski, who he met on the gay dating app Grindr according to the Lansing State Journal.

At around 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Bacon had texted his friend/roommate that he was going to meet up with a man he met on the app. He texted for the final time at 6 p.m., saying that he didn’t know what time he was coming back home and that he was having fun..

When Bacon didn’t show up for work on Dec. 27.,, his family contacted the police. His vehicle was found abandoned in a Flint parking lot, with his wallet inside and a bag of clothes.

Bacon’s body was found mutilated on Dec. 28.

Latunski was tracked down via Facebook messages between him and Bacon. If convicted, he faces life in prison.

Controversial Youtuber Jeffree Star responded to a tweet that Bacon was such a fan, he had tattoos of the make-up artist. Starr responded with a message, and donated $20,000 to Bacon’s GoFundMe page.
