Man Pleads Guilty To Helping Others Charged In Young Dolph’s Murder

MEMPHIS- A man pleaded guilty Friday to helping two other men charged with murder in the death of Young Dolph.

Jermarcus Johnson, 26, pleaded guilty to three counts of accessory after the fact Friday. Judge Lee Coffee approved a plea deal with prosecutors, which allowed Jackson to avoid trial, according to reports.

Johnson acknowledged helping two other suspects communicate after the killing while they were on the run from the authorities and helped one of them communicate with his probation officer after the killing.

Johnson also acknowledged taking possession of a car from the shooting suspect Justin Johnson, which is his half-brother. He also identified a photo in which Justin Johnson was wearing the same clothing as one of the two accused shooters who killed Young Dolph the day he was killed.

Johnson had no role in the actual killing of the Dolph.

Johnson was one of four men charged in a conspiracy indictment stemming from the 2021 killing of Young Dolph. He is the first person to plead guilty or be convicted in the deadly shooting.
