CALIFORNIA- One of four men charged in the killing of Drill rapper Pop Smoke pleaded guilty Thursday to manslaughter.
The 20-year-old man also pleaded guilty to home invasion. He was sentenced to four years and two months in a juvenile facility.
He was 17 when the deadly robbery occurred.
The judge is withholding his identity due to him being at a minor at the time of the crime.
Pop Smoke, whose real name is Bashar Barakah Jackson was killed after posting his address on social media in Feb. of 2020.
The robbers got his address through Airbnb.
Pop Smoke was pistol-whipped before he was shot three times in his back before he was robbed for a $2,000 Rolex.
Cory Walker, Keandre Rodgers, and the teen are charged with murder during the commission of a robbery and burglary.
