FLORIDA- An inmate who was released last month due to the Coronvirus pandemic has been charged with the murder of a man just a day after being set free.
Joseph Edwards Williams was released from jail on March 19th along with 163 other inmates who were considered low-level offenders according to WFLA.
Williams was arrested on Monday and charged with the murder of a man they say he allegedly shot and killed the day after he was released.
Williams is being held on a $250,000 bond.
Authorities say that Williams took “advantage” of the order that was put in place to free inmates and hopes he’s punished to the fullest extent.
