Man Sentenced To 32 Years For Killing Rapper Slim 400

CALIFORNIA – A judge sentenced a man to serve more 30 years in prison for the shooting death of rapper Slim 400.

Michael Lanell Terry was sentenced to 32 years for shooting Slim 400 to death in 2021. Terry pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter on July 15.

Slim 400, whose real name is Vincent Cohran Jr., was killed on December 8, 2021.

Terry fatally shot Slim, 33, while the two men were struggling in the rapper’s front yard.

Tamara Lynn Bell was also charged in the case along with Terry, her co-defendant. She pleaded guilty to felony accessory after the fact. Bell is scheduled to be sentenced on January 15, 2025.
