MEMPHIS- Rapper Lil Baby’s concert came to a halt Thursday after shots rang out, critically injuring a man that has been identified as rapper CEO Jizzle.
The rapper took to social media in a video denying rumors that he was killed during the shooting which injured him during the concert at the FedExForum.
CEO Jizzle gave an update on his health from a hospital bed, as he was seen with a bandage over a gunshot wound and huge scar in the middle of his chest.
He told his fans that he’s made of “concrete” and said to “pray for the opps ten times harder.”
CEO Jizzle was the late rapper Young Dolph’s artist.
The Memphis Police Department said officers responded to a report of a shooting at 10:23 p.m. at 191 Beale Street, the address to the FedExForum, a 19,000-seat arena.
A male victim was taken to the Regional One Health Medical Center in critical condition. No other injuries were reported, according to Memphis Police.
There is an active investigation and no arrests have been made.
