ARKANAS- A man who had been arrested for public intoxication, stole a police car outside of the jail he had just been released from on Thursday, reports The Smoking Gun.
Cordell Coleman, 33, was allegedly seen by police on surveillance footage climbing inside of a marked Police Department SUV that was parked outside.
Coleman was then allegedly seen getting into a 2018 Ford Explorer, and driving away from the jail.
The SUV was recovered outside of an apartment complex with Coleman inside of the vehicle.
He’s now facing a felony theft charge.
