HOUSTON- Two men have been arrested and charged in the death of Migos rapper Takeoff.
Patrick Clark, 33, who was charged with murder, appeared in court with his attorneys last week, claiming he was innocent. Clark asked the judge for $5,000 in order for him to hire a private investigator to prove his innocence, according to reports.
This past weekend, Clark’s motion was granted by a judge and Clark can now hire a private investigator to help prove that he’s allegedly innocent in the killing of the Atlanta rapper.
Clark asked the judge for the money because his family has spent their money on an attorney who will represent him for a reduced price.
Clark is currently being held on a $2 million bond.
Takeoff, whose real name is Kirsnick Khari Ball, was fatally shot outside on Nov. 1 of a bowling alley in Houston. Takeoff was killed in front of his uncle and fellow Migos rapper Quavo.
