Man arrested after opening fire inside of a Bronx precinct; shot two officers

THE BRONX- An armed man walked into the 41st Hunts Point precinct at around 8 a.m. on Sunday and opened fire according to several news outlets.

A lieutenant was shot once in his arm, and the NYPD believes that this may be the same man who just hours before may have allegedly shot at a pair of officer’s as they sat in a marked police car.

One of out of the two officer’s in the marked police car who was shot didn’t suffer any life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was arrested, and taken to a local Hospital, to be treated for injuries.
