CALIFORNIA – A man with “420” tattooed on his head was captured by police Saturday after he allegedly decapitated a female relative and fled with her head, police said.
Luis Aroyo-Lopez, 24, was taken into custody after he was on the run since police in Santa Rosa discovered the headless body of a woman inside of a home Thursday, the Santa Rosa Police Department said.
Police say they responded to a home for a report of a possible homicide around 3:40 p.m. When officers arrived, they found his grandmother decapitated inside the home, but her head was not found at the residence.
Authorities said that Aroyo-Lopez, the victim’s grandson, allegedly killed her before fleeing the scene with her head.
Aroyo-Lopez was captured, but it’s unclear if police found his grandmother’s head.
