BROOKLYN, NYC – A customer who allegedly killed a bodega employee over a $2 cigar has been charged.
Daquan David, 29, was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon charges after he was found in Brooklyn on Wednesday morning, according to the NYPD.
David was found with gunshot wounds to his hand, according to The Post.
He is accused of shooting Nazim Berry on Feb. 26 inside of a bodega in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn after a dispute over a cigar.
David demanded that he get the cigar for free, but Berry refused to allow him. David returned later to the store and allegedly shot Berry in the head.
Berry was rushed to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
