HARLEM, NY – A man accused of raping a 10-year-ld girl in Harlem has surrendered to police, after being on the run for weeks.
Drequan Drayton- Howard, 23, from The Bronx, met the girl off the dating app Bumble.
She reportedly made a fake account on the app, before meeting with Drayton-Howard earlier this month. He took her to an apartment around 3rd Ave and East 122nd, where he raped her, police said.
The girl went to a hospital soon after, reporting the incident to authorities. After she was treated, she was released.
Drayton-Howard was charged with rape, sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
