LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA- Maroon 5 bassist Mickey Madden was arrested on Saturday after being accused of domestic violence.
According to Page 6, Los Angeles police charged Madden with penal code 273.5(a), meaning he willfully inflicted “traumatic” injury on a spouse or cohabitant.
Madden is not married.
He posted bail at $500,000.
A spokesperson for Maroon 5 told Page 6, “We are deeply devastated by this disappointing news. As we learn more, we are looking at this very seriously.
“For now, we are allowing all of the individuals involved the space to work things through.”
The identity of the victim is being withheld at this time.
