Mary. J. Blige is set to be on MTV’s rebooted season 3 of “Scream”. Blige will playing the role of Sherry Elliot, the mother of a local football star whose past comes back to haunt him. This is not a first for the singer who has earned an Oscar nomination for her role in the movies ‘Mudbound”.
Blige has also co-starred in the NBC’s The Wiz Live, ABC’s “How To Get Away with murder”, and she’ll also be starring in the upcoming Netflix series “The Umbrella Academy” where she plays the role of “Cha-Cha” who is described as a “ruthless and unorthodox hitwoman” who travels through time to kill her assigned targets.
