Masked Gunmen Drag Popeye’s Employees Across Floor During Robbery

MEMPHIS- Two masked gunmen entered a Popeye’s restaurant and dragged employees by their feet during a robbery, police said.

The incident happened on January 15 around 8:56 a.m. when two men, wearing ski masks entered the fast-food joint and “grabbed an employee” as they entered a rear door, before slamming “them violently to the ground”, according to Memphis Police Department, reports The Post.

There were other employees who were also dragged, police said.

Both suspects then held the employees at gunpoint, forcing them to open up the register.

The burglars then fled the Popeyes.

No arrests have been made.
