Mass Shooting At LGBTQ Nightclub Leaves 5 Dead, 18 Injured, Suspect Arrested

COLORADO- Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a deadly mass shooting at an LGBTQ nightclub Saturday night.

22-year-old Anderson Lee Aldridge is accused of fatally shooting 5 people and injuring 18.

Colorado Springs Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting at Club Q around midnight Saturday night. Two minutes after police arrived, Aldridge was taken into custody.

Police found 2 firearms at the scene.
When the suspect was in the club, he was stopped by two people that are being hailed as heroes.
There is an ongoing investigation to determine of this was an act of a hate crime and if Aldridge acted alone.
