Matthew Perry, ‘Friends’ Star, Found Dead In His Jacuzzi At 54

LOS ANGELES – Actor Matthew Perry has died at 54.

The actor, best known for his role as Chandler Bing on the show “Friends” was found dead in his L.A. home Saturday.

Perry died in an apparent drowning, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Police are investigating his death, according to Los Angeles officials.

No foul play is suspected; however, the incident remains under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department Robbery-Homicide Division.

The Los Angeles Fire Department reportedly said a 911 call came in at 4:07 p.m. for a water rescue emergency.

When they arrived at the actor’s home, he was found dead in his Jacuzzi.

Perry was casted as Chandler on the famed sitcom “Friends” in 1998.

He earned an Emmy nomination for his role in 2002.
