NORTH CAROLINA- A McDonald’s employee was charged after he allegedly shot and killed a woman inside of the fast-food restaurant Monday, police said.
The deadly incident happened at the North Carolina establishment shortly before 11 a.m., according to reports.
Police told ABC News the victim had been involved in an altercation with another woman at a bus stop outside of the McDonald’s that escalated indoors. One of the women left after employees separated them, but returned a short time later and was shot in the chest by the McDonald’s employee.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the woman had showed “erratic behavior” over the weekend, after responding to several calls about her.
The employee has been charged with homicide.
