BROOKLYN, NY- A McDonald’s employee was shot in the neck outside of the fast-food restaurant Monday night, police said.
The 23-year-old male employee was working at the McDonald’s in Brooklyn when he got into a verbal argument with a female customer over food around 7 p.m., police said, according to NBC News.
The incident escalated when the victim got into a physical altercation with the woman’s 20-year-old son, which spilled outside of the McDonald’s.
The unidentified 20-year-old suspect is accused of shooting the worker in the neck.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Charges are still pending.
