Rapper Megan Thee Stallion has called out DJ Akademiks for tweeting false information.
Megan was due to go to court over her assault case with Tory Lanez, in which he allegedly shot her feet back in 2020. Before she appeared in court, blogger DJ Akademiks tweeted:
“It was revealed in court a few moments ago that Tory Lanez DNA WAS NOT found on the weapon in the Meg Thee Stallion case.”
Megan fired back at the blogger on her Instagram stories, writing:
“Court ain’t even started so why y’all ready to start lying?”. The rapper then posted a message directly to the blogger, which read “Yall got breaking news 15 minutes before court started and nobody has even been called in yet?? Yall tryna win a social media campaign this is MY REAL LIFE! Yall tryna get retweets SPREADING FALSE NARRATIVES! @iamakademiks Why are you lying? What did you gain?.”

Tory Lanez deleted his original tweet, and later tweeted an “update”, tweeting that the trial had been adjourned until April, claiming he’s seen the documents to prove what he’s saying.
